Our local commitments

Madagascar is the 4th poorest country in the world. Currently, it is one of the most deforested countries in the world. Mangroves help sequester significant quantities of CO2 and restore the island's unique biodiversity. 80% of the fauna and flora are endemic , that is to say they cannot be found anywhere else.

Our approach is to raise awareness among local populations about sustainable agricultural practices . We provide them with the resources and knowledge necessary to benefit from a stable economic income while participating in the reforestation of the island.

Bôndy is part of the AFR100 initiative (Initiative for the Restoration of African Forest Landscapes) whose objective is to restore 100 million hectares of deforested and degraded landscapes in Africa by 2030.
